Scrambler Marie's restaurant on SOM Center Road across from Eastgate Plaza is a morning kind of place. The cheerful interior is bright enough to wake you up. That's the whole idea, since the Mayfield Heights eatery only serves breakfast and lunch.

Zoo director Anne Baker said the female elephant named “Twiggy” is very thin and has pitted feet, indicating she didn’t have proper foot care. The elephant is in quarantine and not ready to be exhibited.
